Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple Working on Smart Home Camera and New AirPods

Apple is set to launch production of “smart cameras” in 2026. According to a reputable analyst, Apple aims to sell at least ten million smart cameras annually over the long term.

These devices are likely to integrate into Apple’s smart home ecosystem, with Siri, enhanced by Apple Intelligence, as the central control. The ecosystem will also include an affordable smart display and a robot equipped with an arm.

Apple plans to boost AirPods sales with new health-monitoring features. The earbuds are expected to include additional sensors to monitor breathing and track heart rate during workouts, similar to the anticipated functionality in the upcoming Powerbeats Pro 2.

Apple aims to increase annual AirPods sales by 50%, from 48 million units in 2023 to 68 million by 2026.
